Besides the most commonly used SI and Imperial unit system the website provides conversion of historical measurement units. The historical measurement systems are divided into two categories the unit systems used in ancient times and obsolete national and regional unit systems. The latter category of measurement unit systems was unit systems used by different regions and nations of the world before the full adoption of the SI unit system.
